This question has always seemed plaguing growing up. Such a simple yet life defining question that is the definition of open-ended with infinite justifiable answers. The problem I want to solve isn't a lofty promise based in idealism but rather a personal challenge to myself that is based on my personality and goals.
What are my goals?
To find out what my purpose is a challenge upfront but is made easier by instead looking at my current set of goals. On the surface level they include: graduating with a bachelor of science in business administration + bachelor of science in accounting, growing my network, applying myself fully in my academics, and managing/balancing social life with academic life. Understanding these goals is only the first step. The next part is tying these goals to a personality trait that defines who I am. My immediate thought is determined. I may not always have the right answer to a question, solved it the fastest, or made the most innovative solution but I have never called it quits.
How my goals open doors.
My determination is the sole reason for where I am today and defines my purpose tying in goals and passions as well. My purpose is this "stay true to your morals and be the best version of yourself". If my morals and passions are true than I know that by being the best version of myself, that version is the type of person to help those around him. To be the person to volunteer his thoughts, effort, and time to those in need.
Conclusion
My purpose, goals, and passions are all culminated and correlated. If I succeed in one then I succeed in the others.
