Introspective Ceramics

This portfolio of pieces is an ongoing investigation into the motivators of human reliance. Why do we function the way we do, what drives us, what makes us tick. As I work through these pieces from start to finish I think introspectively as to my own motivators and causes.

Looking back through this collection of pieces I'm extremely proud of my ability to diversify. The human form and image is extremely unique and I wanted to highlight different body types, shading, and other aspects through both form and glazing/coloring. Before creating this storyline I was somewhat lost and unmotivated in the ceramics studio and this project has helped revitalize my passions ironicaly by understanding different people and their self images.
